Anyone charging for coaching sessions, online courses, group programs, or mentorship. The coaching space is unregulated, which means someone can charge thousands of dollars for a program with no oversight and no governing body holding them accountable. CoachCheck is the community's answer to that gap. If they call it coaching, they belong here.
It depends on what they're selling. If they offer a coaching program or course — even alongside a licensed clinical practice — submit the coaching side. That's the unregulated offer CoachCheck covers. Clinical credentials next to an unregulated coaching program are part of what makes those offers hard to evaluate on your own.
Licensed clinical practices offering clinical services: therapy practices, psychiatry, medicine, clinical nutrition counseling. Those professions have licensing boards and established review infrastructure. If you're looking to review your therapist or a physician's practice, Healthgrades, Psychology Today, and similar platforms are built for that.
Every submission goes through a review before going live. We check that it's an active coaching or program offer and do a basic public records check. If approved, the profile goes live and we'll email you to come back and leave your review.
