Only coaches with an active claimed profile (verified and subscribed to Engaged Coach) may formally dispute a review. Unverified or unclaimed coaches may not initiate the dispute process.
A dispute must identify a specific, verifiable factual inaccuracy or a clear violation of our Review Guidelines. The following are not valid grounds: the review is negative; the coach disagrees with the reviewer's opinion or assessment; the review describes an experience the coach considers unfair; other reviewers or customers have had better experiences.
Email hello@coachcheck.co with: the URL of the review in question; a precise description of the factual inaccuracy or guideline violation you are claiming; and supporting evidence. Disputes submitted without evidence will not be investigated.
We review every dispute submitted with evidence within 7 business days. We do not contact reviewers on behalf of coaches or share dispute details with reviewers unless necessary for resolution. One legitimate dispute is treated with the same weight as ten — volume of complaints never accelerates or strengthens a case.
Keep: the review remains as published. Annotate: we add a note that the review is disputed without removing it. Request clarification: we contact the reviewer to verify a specific claim. Remove: the review is removed because it violates our guidelines or contains a demonstrably false statement of fact.
Decisions are final unless the disputing party submits material new evidence not previously available. Repeat disputes on the same review without new evidence will not be reopened.
If a coach submits a claim that is rejected because identity verification fails: full refund within 5 business days. If a claim is rejected because the profile does not exist in our directory or was already claimed by another verified party: full refund. If a claim is approved but the coach cancels within 7 days of first access: full refund. No refund is available after 7 days of active access. Disputed claims where two parties contest ownership of the same profile: the non-prevailing party receives a full refund. To request a refund, email hello@coachcheck.co with your claim reference.
CoachCheck is a platform, not a publisher. Our decision to publish, not publish, or remove content is protected under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. We are not liable for third-party review content. Legal threats directed at CoachCheck in connection with published reviews may be publicly disclosed.
